Puff Stitch Beanie

Puff beanie

I’ve been making this hat for a few years, but didn’t think much of it, other than its quick and easy and can be made in just a few hours.  I’ve posted it on The Week Hookers facebook page this afternoon and it got quite a bit of attention, so I thought I would post it on here for you guys.  You can download the PDF version enjoy xx

Puff Stitch full mittens

I searched high and low for full crocheted mittens, could I find any?  Yes, a few, not many, and not a cat in hell chance of finding one that used a puff stitch, so I made my own and here it is for you click on the link to download the PDF puff-stitch-mittens

Christy Beach Bag

I had been looking for a nice and simple beach bag pattern in UK terms, I used James C Brett, purely because of how sturdy it is, I also liked the bright colours, to download the pattern click here christy-beach-bag

T-Shirt Yarn Cushion Cover

I had been looking for a good pattern to create something from T-shirt yarn, again not an easy ‘free’ find, especially in UK terms!  Also T-shirt yarn is very thick and I wanted to find a pattern that wouldn’t show the white cushion underneath, I used Hoooked yarn to download the pattern click here tshirt-yarn-cushion-cover

Mermaid Tail – UK terms!

A week before Christmas I was asked to make four mermaid tails, I couldn’t find a pattern anywhere (for free) in UK terms, with a nice ribbed waist band and a pretty tail, so I created my own, its quick, easy, and works up gorgeous using James C Brett Chunky Party time, have fun!  Click on the link mermaid-tail-in-uk-terms
